#5: Holographic life forms

#5: Holographic life forms

“Animation isn’t the illusion of life; it is life.” — Chuck Jones

A major goal of our team’s work in developing the Looking Glass has been to perfect the illusion of life — that wondrous illusion first pioneered by animators and film makers well over a century ago — and to make that illusion totally and absolutely indistinguishable from reality.

I believe several artists around the world have just recently crossed this critical threshold. They’ve created a variety of artificial life forms in their Looking Glasses that, in radically different ways, behave like strange and very real life forms made entirely of light.
